Plectranthus australis - Swedish Ivy (Green) also known as Swedish Begonia and Creeping Charlie is a member of the Lamiaceae family of plants and is native to South Africa. Dead heading the spent blooms will allow new flowers to bloom more quickly. Plectranthus australis - Swedish Ivy (Green) is considered an evergreen perennial that prefers part sun indoors. Direct sunlight will burn the leaves, so place the plant in indirect light. Keep soil moist and don’t allow to dry out. Use a well-drained soil to promote good root health and discourage rot.

Vivariums/Animal Terrariums:

Plectranthus australis - Swedish Ivy (Green) can be used in a vivarium or animal terrarium as a ground cover or on a background. Plant in a well-drained location and prune as needed to keep in control.
